Analytical Services

Fire Assaying:	For gold & silver using classical industry accepted methods with a gravimetric finish or by instrumentation for lower limits. Minimum 30 gram sample.
Base Metals Analysis:	Using multi-acid dissolution for complete solution; finish using atomic absorption or ICP (inductively coupled plasma) or both. Volumetric and titrimetric methods available for higher grade samples.
Platinum Group Elements (PGE):	Platinum, palladium and rhodium by fire assay fusion, adjusting fluxes to suit matrix of samples. Finish with AA or ICP instrumentation. Minimum 30 gram sample
Industrial Minerals Analysis:	Limestone, silica sand, barite etc.
Uranium Analysis:	From 0.1 ppm to >50% U3O8, fluorometric and volumetric analysis.
Coal Analysis & Coal Bed Methane Analysis	Proximate analysis, calorific value, ultimate analysis, washability, sieve sizes and more. All methodologies analyzed by ASTM designations.
Diamond Indicator Minerals Recoveries:	The materials processed through our facility vary widely, ranging from till and alluvial samples, to beach and bedrock.
Umpire Analysis:	For copper concentrates, lead, zinc, nickel, molybdenum and many others.
Rare Earth Elements (REE):	Metaborate fusion with ICP finish.
